Abstract:This paper presents a theoretical analysis of the literature on the speed of pulse wave propagation using a combination of ECG and PPG signals. The diagnostic value of pulse wave velocity in medical practice is use of this indicator for non-invasive measurement of blood pressure and also for determination of arterial stiffness.
