Abstract: BackgroundA metabolic shift from fatty acid (FAO) to glucose oxidation (GO) occurs during cardiac hypertrophy (LVH) and heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF), which is mediated by PGC-1α and PPARα.
