Abstract: 25Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) retains the unique ability to establish an asymptomatic 26 latent infection. A fundamental question in mycobacterial physiology is to understand the 27 mechanisms involved in hypoxic stress, a critical player in persistence.
