Metabolic syndrome and acute pancreatitis: Current status and future prospects

Abstract: Rising incidence of a complicated disorder with a multifarious etiology is acute pancreatitis. Growing numbers of cases of acute pancreatitis are linked to obesity, hyperlipidemia, hyperglycemia, hypertension, and other metabolic diseases.
