Abstract:Background: NaHCO3 in soil leads to alkalinization and causes stress in plants, thus hindering agricultural sustainability. A strain NYJ was identified as Rheinheimera pacifica and applied into cucumber-planted soil to mitigate NaHCO3 stress in this study.
