Metakaolin‐based geopolymer for mercury removal from model wastewater

Abstract: Mercury is recognized as a serious hazard, nature bioaccumulative and persistent to the environment. Developing a low‐cost, effective, eco‐friendly adsorbent for removing mercury constitutes an urgent task.
