However, the strong tendency of H 2 ADA toward chelation places a limitation on its coordination chemistry, and a series of mononuclear transitional metal coordination compounds with H 2 ADA and its deprotonated derivatives have been described [11][12][13][14][15][16][17] results also reveal that using metal ions with large ionic radius or using mononuclear precursors are effective synthetic strategies for the production of multidimensional ADA ligand frameworks as shown in Schemes 1 and 2.
