Abstract:Two synthetic organic dyes of the Benzothioxanthene imide (BTI) family are explored as a promising electroactive material for organic light‐emitting electrochemical cells (LECs). The high thermal stability and ease of thin film processing make BTI‐based compounds suitable for these devices.
