Abstract:Carbon–carbon/carbon–heteroatom bond formation via oxidative CH functionalization is a novel approach which shifts the focus from the standard organic synthesis involving selective reactions at functional groups. The new logic relies on the controlled functionalization of specific CH bonds, even in the presence of supposedly more reactive functional groups and is currently a heavily explored topic. Peroxydisulfate oxidants have risen as an economical and readily available choice of inorganic oxidant, catalyz… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
