Metallkomplexe mit biologisch wichtigen Liganden. LXXXII. Triphenylphosphan‐Molybdän‐, Wolfram‐, Ruthenium‐ und Iridium‐Komplexe mit N‐acylierten α‐Aminocarboxylaten

Abstract: Die Hydrido‐Komplexe RuHCl(CO)(PPh3)3, RuH2(PPh3)4 und IrH3(PPh3)3 reagieren mit N‐Acyl‐α‐Amino‐carbonsäuren unter Bildung der Carboxylat‐Komplexe RuCl(O2CCHRNHCOR′)(CO)(PPh3)2 (1–3), RuH(O2CCHRNHCOR′)(PPh3)3 (4–6) und IrH2(O2CCH2NHCOPh)(PPh3)3 (7). Die Struktur von RuCl(O2CCH2NHCOPh)(CO)(PPh3)2 (1) wurde röntgenographisch bestimmt. Phosphan‐Komplexe der Formel MBr(O2CCH2NHCOR)(CO)2(PPh3)2 (M = Mo, W) (8–12) und Mo(O2CCHRNHCOR′)2(CO)2(PPh3)2 (13–17) entstehen bei der Umsetzung von MBr2(CO)2(PPh3)2 mit einem bz… Show more

“…Whereas h 2 coordination is observed for the Ru II , Mo II , and W II complexes 24 ± 26, the Mo II complex 27 contains both h 1 -and h 2 -coordinated ligands. [20] Square-planar a-aminocarboxylate carbonyl complexes are known for rhodium(i) (28,29) [21] and platinum(ii) (30). [22] Dicarbonyl …”

“…Manganese complexes with carboxylate ligands have received extensive attention as carboxylates are good candidates for the investigation of exchange coupling interactions between adjacent metal ions (Soler et al, 2004). Hippuratic acid, an Nprotected amino acid, was previously found to act as an oxygen-donor anionic ligand in the construction of coordination compounds (Morelock et al, 1979(Morelock et al, , 1982Grewe et al, 1982;Brown & Trefonas, 1973;Huber et al 1988;Jones & Schelbach, 1988;Darensbourg et al, 1994;Battistuzzi et al, 1996;Severin et al, 1996). However, there are only a few reported crystal structures of mixed-ligand complexes of hippuratic acid and heteroaromatic ligands such as 1,10phenanthroline, 2,2-bipyridine and 4,4-bipyridine (e.g.…”

“…Metal-phosphine complexes have a second ligand that contains both soft and hard donor atoms. These ligands are preferred a special significance due to their biological potentials [4][5][6][7]. Among them, thiosemicarbazones have been of particular interest since the discovery of their antiviral [8,9] antibacterial [10] and cytotoxic activities [11,12].…”
