Metastatic renal cell carcinoma presenting as gastrointestinal bleeding

Abstract: A 73‐year‐old female with metastatic renal cell carcinoma (RCC) presented with melena and lethargy. She was found to be iron deficient with a hemoglobin of 101 g/L. Her gastroscopy found six irregular pedunculated non‐bleeding polyps, 10–20 mm in diameter. Histopathology of the resected polyp returned as metastatic clear cell renal cell carcinoma.
