Follicular thyroid carcinoma is a notable subtype of thyroid carcinoma, with metastasis accounting for 6%–20% of cases and typically characterised by haematogenous spread to the lung, liver and bone. We are reporting a rare case in which a 67-year-old male presented with swelling over his left gluteal region. On local examination, a hard mass on the left side of the gluteal region was discovered, which radiologically was determined to be chondrosarcoma/soft-tissue sarcoma. Cytology revealed metastatic deposits of adenocarcinoma. Histopathological examination revealed follicular carcinoma metastasis.
