Abstract:Optical phased array (OPA) has emerged as a promising technology for a wide range of applications ranging from LIDAR for autonomous vehicles, space communication, laser machining to augmented reality. Metasurfaces have the potential to greatly improve the performance of OPAs and extend their range of applications.
