Meteo-BEM: A new hybrid approach to predict noise barriers’ efficiency with meteorological effects, theory, and comparison with experimental results

Abstract: In a complex outdoor environment, meteorological factors have been found to affect the sound field. On one hand, boundary element methods are particularly well adapted to calculate the sound pressure above complex boundaries (various absorbing properties and shapes) in a homogeneous atmosphere.
