Methanol Extract of Rumex Vesicarius L. as Eco-Friendly Corrosion Inhibitor for Carbon Steel in Sulfuric Acid Solution

Abstract: Abstract:The inhibiting effect of Rumex vesicarius L. extract on the carbon steel corrosion in H 2 SO 4 was studied by weight loss, potentiodynamic polarization, electrochemical frequency modulation and electrochemical impedance techniques. The efficiency of the extract increased with increasing the extract concentration and with rising the temperature.
