“…Pyrethroids are neurotoxins designed to exert their toxicity by interfering with voltage‐gated sodium channels in the insect nervous system (Yang et al., 2014), which delay the inactivation of sodium channels, ultimately increasing neuronal excitability and leading to changes in neurobehavior.
