Abstract: Accurate fluid assessment is essential in critically ill patients, as both fluid insufficiency and fluid excess can result in adverse outcomes. The passive leg raising test (PLR) is a dependable and simple method of evaluating fluid responsiveness. Its accuracy and specificity have been validated over the past decade.
