Key route indicators of transport are identified, revealing the main characteristics of the organization of routes that affect the rationality of the organization and the effectiveness of their work. A model has been developed that considers the structural and operational characteristics of vehicles, which makes it possible to determine not only the parameters of the vehicle’s operation on the route, but also the parameters characterizing the driver’s employment. The nomenclature of indicators is given, which makes it possible to objectively compare the parameters of the route operation when servicing it with various types of transport, with the help of which the operation of route No. 139 in Minsk is investigated.
