Abstract:Uveal melanoma (UM) is a rare primary malignant tumor originating from uveal melanocytes (choroid (90%), ciliary body (6%), iris (4%)) of the eye. According to the aggregate data, the tumor incidence is 5.2 cases per 1 million population. In Russia this value varies between 6.23–8 cases per 1 million adult population across the regions.
