Methods for producing foamed aluminum

Abstract: Abstract. This article discusses the main methods for the production of aluminum-alloy-based foam aluminum with pores isolated from each other. The structural parameters of materials obtained through different techniques are described. The influence of a production technique on the mechanical properties of finished materials is demonstrated. It has been revealed that the ordering of the porous structure results in enhanced mechanical properties of foam aluminum.
