Abstract:Methylene blue is not easily biodegradable, and its persistence in water can contribute to long-term contamination if not properly treated. Numerous adsorption kinetic study successes were achieved utilizing activated carbons of coconut shell, especially the Pseudo-First and Pseudo-Second order models with little/no regards to the unique behavior described by the Avrami, Bangham and the Fractional Power kinetic models.
