“…The reported alterations in amino acid metabolism can be characterized by changes in tryptophan/kynurenine metabolism, which representatively showed an increase of 3-hydroxykynurenine concentrations in the plasma of ADHD patients [ 17 , 18 , 19 , 40 ].
