“…But these methods have a number of drawbacks (for example, electrical efficiency is less than 50 per cent and power factor is not more than 15-20 per cent), which force us to search for new, more economical and simply realizable methods of MHD mixing of melts. From this point of view, looks promising to employ system of travelling permanent magnets; this method has greater total efficiency, about 75-80 per cent, and power factor more than 80 per cent (Aliferov et al , 2018), as well as simple design and better serviceability.…”
