MHM bracket design on the path of Dr Andrews of true straight wire technique, prototype study design

Abstract: OBJECTIVE: The authors invented an innovation in the bracket design; that targeted to fulfill the aim of Dr. Andrews for a true straight wire technique. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The use of the ball and socket design together with the ability to relocate the position of the slot in three dimensions enhances the control and precision of individual teeth. RESULTS: The revolutionary bracket eliminated any wire bending in the initial, intermediate o… Show more

“…This information assists orthodontists in making accurate diagnoses, developing effective treatment plans, and selecting optimal techniques for moving misaligned teeth while minimizing impact on the surrounding periodontal tissue. [49] CONCLUSION Root dilacerations refer to atypical deformations in the root of a tooth, commonly observed in orthodontic patients. Identifying these deformations at an early stage is crucial for effectively addressing the related issues.…”

“…This system contained gold material and was used effectively as a lingual appliance for many years. [ 14 15 ] Needless to say, the cost of such an appliance was extremely high, and its availability was limited to orthodontists who had attended a specific course with 3M and had access to the facilities needed to scan and communicate with the Incognito department, combined with a patient who could afford the cost.…”

“…The amphora-shaped shaft provides an hourglass design for the cortical plate to heal and adapt, allowing for long-term stability throughout treatment [ Figure 7 ]. [ 16 17 ] The 2 mm thickness at the shaft's thinnest part allows enough strength to avoid fracture during insertion or removal even by inexperienced clinicians. The cutting-edge tip is designed to allow for self-drilling through the bone [ Figure 8 ].…”
