“…This behaviour maybe akin to the varying critical micelle concentration (CMC) of SDS in different solutions. Newberry [26], Muijselaar, et al [27] and Su, et al [28], have all shown via various studies that the CMC of SDS in divalent metal solutions is far less than its usual 8 × 10 -3 M in pure water being 4 × 10 -3 M for nickel and 2 × 10 -3 M for copper depending on concentration. As 4 × 10 -3 M corresponds to 0.6 g/l SDS content, it can be in ferred that the attained CMC enhanced YSZ particle dispersion which yielded an increased level of ceramic incorporation in the coating.…”

“…[1][2][3][4][5][6] Dansylamino acids 5 and peptides 6 have been resolved with Tween 20 and Brij 35, respectively. The resolution improvement is attributed to the binding of ionic analytes to the nonionic surfactant micelles.…”

“…3 Many researchers focus their work on the development of novel methods concerning MEKC by using modifiers. For example, cyclodextrin-modified MEKC (CD-MEKC) [4][5][6][7] borate-complex EKC 8,9 and ion-exchange EKC 10,11 have been reported.…”
