Microbubble Ultrasound Contrast Agents in the Visualization of Peripheral Vasculature in 'Doppler Rescue': A Review

Abstract: Microbubble ultrasound contrast agents were developed for use in the macrovascular circulation as an adjunct to a colour Doppler ultrasound examination — 'Doppler-rescue'.
