Microorganisms isolated from blood cultures and their antimicrobial susceptibilities

“…Cormican ve Jones'un yaptığı çok merkezli bir çalışmada bakteriyemili hastalarda S.aureus metisilin direncinin %25, CNS'ın metisilin direncinin %65 olduğu bildirilmiştir. Bizim çalışmamızda S.aureus üremesi sınırlı olsa da CNS grubunda metisilin direnci %84,9 ile bu çalışmalardan çok daha yüksek oranda saptanmıştır 7 . Metisilin direncinin yüksek olmasının düşük sosyoekonomik düzeye sahip hasta populasyonda uygunsuz antibiyotik kullanımı ile ilişkili olabileceği düşünüldü.…”
