Abstract: Aplastic anemia (AA) is a form of bone marrow failure (BMF) resulting in significant cytopenias and may progress with clonal evolution to myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) and acute myeloid leukemia (AML). MicroRNA expression is dysregulated in MDS/AML, but there are limited studies on its role in the pathogenesis of AA.
