Microscopic features of small bowel mucosa of patients with Crohn’s disease

Abstract: Background Double-balloon enteroscopy enables performing numerous small bowel biopsies for pathologic analysis. However, most histopathological characteristics of Crohn’s disease are non-specific characteristics.
