Abstract:BACKGROUND[18F] flortaucipir (FTP) binding to paired helical filament (PHF) tau in Alzheimer's disease (AD) is well accepted. Binding to 3R and 4R tau in frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD) is controversial.
