Abstract:To achieve low‐stress and small‐deformation welding of thin‐walled structures for the fourth‐generation nuclear power plants, GH3535 superalloy is welded to itself using electron beam welding (EBW). The microstructure and mechanical properties of the GH3535 superalloy joints are characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS), hardness, and tensile tests.
