Abstract:Al-Cu-Fe-Ce quasicrystalline-reinforced 6061 aluminum matrix composites were prepared through hot press sintering and treated with a solid solution and aging treatments. The influence of the solid solution and aging treatments on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the composites was investigated by XRD, EDS, SEM, and TEM.
