The damage of microstructure elements under load is considered in the form of voids and micro-porosities of varying extents. A two-level model of a material with random deformation and strength properties of microstructure elements is proposed. Methods of probability theory are applied. Moment functions of several distribution laws are used to characterize the micro-porosities. The degradation of material properties during the service life of the structure is taken into account. The relationship between the strains and the stresses becomes nonlinear. The stress-strain curve for a uniaxial tensile loading of a copper specimen is calculated and compared to experimental data. The influence of microstructure properties on the relationship between the strain and the stress of the material is demonstrated.
