Abstract:AbstractСrystal structure and mechanism of crystallization of Fe-Ni alloys were studied by methods of X-ray diffraction and metallography. It has been found that macro-and microstructure of austenitic alloy was essentially heterogeneous at the contact and free surfaces and in the volume of a ribbon. The indentified peculiarities of the austenitic phase in different areas of the ribbon are attributed to different cooling rates and the melt crystallization conditions.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
