“…Traces of MgO suggested an incomplete reaction due probably to the relatively low reaction temperatures of Equations (1) and (2). The presence of MgTiO 3 in the final products of Equations (1) and (2) could be attributed to the reaction of MgO with the thermite oxidant TiO 2 [ 26 , 27 ]. The formation of MgTiO 3 in the SHS-produced TiB 2 –MgAl 2 O 4 composites was also observed by Radishevskaya et al [ 10 ] using Ti, boron, and MgAl 2 O 4 as their starting materials and a partial decomposition of MgAl 2 O 4 during combustion synthesis was considered as a possible route resulting in the formation of MgTiO 3 .…”

“…[(Mg 0.5 Zn 0.5 ) 0.95 Co 0.05 ] 2 TiO 4 was demonstrated as the optimal composition in the solid solution of (Mg, Zn) 2 TiO 4 -Co 2 TiO 4 with Q×f value ≈ 2100,000 GHz [460]. The average particle size of pure Mg 2 TiO 4 nano-powders was reduced to 163 nm via high energy ball milling method, and the excellent properties were ε r ≈ 13.9, Q×f value ≈ 98,600 GHz, and τ f ≈ -50.9 ppm/ [461]. Similarly to the formula of Mg ℃ 2 TiO 4 , spinel-based CoZnTiO 4 ceramics were obtained after sintered at 1200 , and th ℃ e properties were majored by the relative density and grain size [462].…”
