Microwave reflective properties of core-shell FeNX@C/Fe4N composite

Abstract:To improve the electromagnetic properties of iron nitride, the core-shell FeNX@C/Fe4N composite material was designed by microwave plasma technique. Within the frequency range of 2-18 GHz, the microwave reflective characteristics of the novel composites mixed with 50% wax were examined. The composition of the core-shell FeNX@C was analyzed by XRD, Raman, and TEM, and the complex permeability and complex permittivity with frequency change were discussed.
