Microwire Strategy for the Endovascular Treatment of an Aneurysm at the Origin of the Posterior Inferior Cerebellar Artery

Abstract: The ultimate goal of endovascular treatment of intracranial aneurysms is complete occlusion of the aneurysm without compromising the parent artery. Several techniques have been described for the treatment of wide-necked aneurysms. An innovative method is proposed for the treatment of wide-necked aneurysms with the neck incorporated in the parent artery.
