Abstract:Typical takotsubo cardiomyopathy (TCM) is a reversible form of myocardial injury that presents with a characteristic ballooning abnormality of the left ventricular apex. Typical TCM has been associated with myocardial bridging; however, mid-ventricular variant TCM has not.
