Middle East Conflict as a TV News Scenario: A Formal Analysis

Abstract: Analysis of CBS coverage of a Middle East conflict suggests that two dominant, mutually supporting patterns of meaning-rediction and afirmation of network a u t h o r i t m r e created b y the interaction of conventional and organic formal elements of news.
