Abstract:Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) is an acquired degenerative, demyelinating neurological disorder classically characterized by progressive, symmetrical ascending paralysis. Often associated to occur after a viral illness, most commonly an upper respiratory infection (URI), followed by gastrointestinal illnesses.
