Mineralization of Dimethylsilanediol by Microorganisms Isolated From Soil

Abstract: Previous studies have shown that polydimethylsiloxane is hydrolyzed in soil to dimethylsilanediol and that dimethylsilanediol is biodegraded in soil. Previously, two soil microorganisms capable of biodegrading dimethylsilanediol were isolated and identified.
