Abstract:The present work aims to characterize the mineralogy of the beach sands along the Mediterranean Coast from Benghazi to Bin Jawwad, NE Libya. The microscopic and SEM examinations indicate an abundance of carbonates, quartz, feldspars, and evaporites.
