Abstract: gibi birtakım minerallerin dolaşımdaki seviyeleri diyabet için önemli bir prediktör olabilmekte ve suplementasyonları diyabetik bireylerin sağlık durumlarında yararlı etkiler oluşturabilmektedir. Glukoz homeostazı pankreasın beta hücrelerinden salgılanan insülin hormonunun kontrolü ve koordinasyonu ile sağlanmaktadır.
