The characterization of the segregation phenomenon in mixture of solids with very different densities and particle sizes is highly relevant in many industrial processes, which are the most relevant for the design of future continuous separation of solids by Segregation. Screening, Froth Floatation, Jigging, Cyclone Separators used to separate mixtures of materials. In the present work an attempt has been made to separate solid mixtures of various sizes and densities via fluidization. The experiments work performed fluidized bed consists of Column inner diameter is 0.019 m and column length1.0 m. The materials used are: sand particle size range 0.21-0032, particle density 1.40-1.70. Bengal gram particle size 0.21-0.039, particle density 1.10-1.20. Dolomite particle size0.308-0.024, particle density 2.7-2.90. Mustard seeds particle size 0.155-0.513, particle density 0.43. Steel balls particle size 0.774 -0.21, particle density 7.30-7.80.Berry seeds 0.84 -0.57, particle density 1.05-1.10. Glass beeds particle size0.786 -0.51 particle density 2.10-2.60. Sodium chloride particle size-0.308-0.032 particle density 2.163. Based on dimensional analysis and experimentation, the equations are created and the separation amount is calculated. It is observed that percent of the error found to be 14.
