Mining tools and patent analytics: new capabilities

Abstract

The paper discusses feasibility of analyzing promising design solutions using the Patent Landscape analysis even before starting construction of new mining machines in terms of the mining tools. The authors suppose that the purpose-oriented adaptation of the patent analytics tools can help develop methodology of forecasting and substantiation of mining machine performance.
