Abstract: Lateolabrax maculatus iridovirus (LMIV) is a variant strain of red sea bream iridovirus (RSIV), causing serious economic losses in aquaculture. Claudins (CLDNs) are major components of tight junctions (TJs) forming an important line of defense against pathogens.
