MiReBooks – Mixed Reality Lehrbücher für das Bergbau-Studium

Abstract: Zusammenfassung: Die Montanuniversität Leoben leitet das europaweite Projekt MiReBooks des EIT RawMaterials, das die Erstellung neuer Bergbaulehrbücher zum Ziel hat. Show more

“…Data lakes are designed to store raw, unstructured, and semi-structured data, providing a flexible environment for data scientists to perform exploratory analysis and machine learning model training (Cai et al, 2023). In contrast, data warehouses store structured data optimized for query performance and business intelligence reporting (Bertignoll et al, 2019). These storage solutions must be integrated seamlessly to facilitate efficient data retrieval and analysis.…”

“…It makes data collection, even real-time data collection possible in underground environment. Due to the specialised knowledge required for underground mining processes, 3R applications have been developed to address the need for effective visualisation and demonstration of mining information [23], [24], [43]- [45]. In contrast to conventional scientific visualisation, information visualisation places greater emphasis on 3D spatial visualisation.…”
