Misdiagnosis of vasitis: a potential diagnostic pitfall with computed tomography

Abstract: Background Vasitis is a rare condition that may be challenging for the clinical practitioner. Sometimes it is misdiagnosed as incarcerated inguinal hernia; thus, patients end up receiving unnecessary surgery.
