Mitigation of scintillation noise in a 32-km maritime path

Abstract: We present a technique to correct for atmospheric scintillation noise in free space optical communications. Co-channel noise is removed by common mode rejection, where each channel is transmitted on separate, but closely spaced, wavelengths.
