Mitochondrial DNA Diversity in Commercial Lines of Laying-type Japanese Quail

Abstract: The present study aims to investigate the maternal origin and genetic diversity of laying-type Japanese quail lines based on partial sequences (453 base pairs) of a mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) control region.
